What is the difference between a first-time cleaning and a deep cleaning?

Accepted Answer

A first-time cleaning is for a home we are cleaning for the first time. These cleanings usually requires additional time and details as our team becomes familiar with the home and brings the property up to our cleaning standards. Because of the extra labor and attention involved, first-time cleanings are typically priced higher than recurring maintance cleaning.

A deep cleaning includes additional detailed attention such as wiping baseboards, doors and trims. It also includes interior windows that can be reached with a 3-step ladder, buildup removal, extra attention to bathroom and kitchen cleaning, and other neglected areas. Deep cleanings do not include the interiors of cabinets, refrigerator and/or oven. Those areas can be added for an additional cost.

Yes. We specialized in vacation rental turnover cleaning to help keep propertied quest-ready and refreshed between stays.

For vacation rental properties, we recommend scheduling cleanings in advance to ensure availability during peak travel seasons.

No. Most of our clients provide a secure access code for our teams to use while they are away, ensuring a seamless service experience.

What do I need to do to prepare my home for a cleaning?

To maximize the effectiveness of our cleaning services, we kindly request that you remove small items from the floor, such as toys, shoes, and clothing. Additionally, please clear countertops of any excess items in the kitchen and bathrooms. While our standard cleaning services do not include dishwashing, we can accommodate this request if necessary.

Our primary focus is on cleaning rather than organizing, so we ask that homes be prepared for our team’s arrival to ensure a smooth and efficient schedule.

Is there a cancellation policy?

While we do not impose a cancellation fee, we kindly request that you consider the impact of last-minute cancellations on our schedule. Such cancellations can leave our teams waiting for their next appointment and prevent us from accommodating other clients.

To assist you in managing your appointments, we send reminders by 9 AM the day prior to your scheduled cleaning. If you need to cancel, we encourage you to do so at the time of this reminder for the best chance to reschedule.

We recognize that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and we appreciate your understanding in providing us with as much notice as possible. For clients who frequently cancel at the last minute, a cancellation fee of $50 will be applied.

Do I get the same team in every cleaning?

We strive to ensure that you receive consistent service from the same cleaning team for every visit. However, in the event of a last-minute emergency or scheduling conflict, we will promptly assign another qualified team to maintain continuity in your cleaning service, allowing you to enjoy a pristine home without disruption.
